Engraving Side: The cutting board can be engraved on the front side with the drip ring or on the back which is flat. Engraving on the front side gives you nice boarder around your engraving but with lots of cutting can dull the engraving. The back side has a larger engraving area. Either option works well and looks great. With front side engraving you will want to make sure you carefully follow the care instruction below and really work the conditioner/oil into the engraving.

Layout: The drip ring maple cutting board can either be engraved horizontal, vertical or you can select what looks best and we will engrave your drip ring maple cutting board to look best with your airplane design and text.

* Cutting Board Care Instructions: Cutting Board Care: Hand wash using warm soapy water. DO not submerge the cutting board in water or place the cutting board in the dishwasher. It is best to clean your cutting board right after use. Do not let food or juices dry on board. Do not store your cutting board until it is completely dry. You should wipe your cutting board down with a clean cloth and a food safe oil or conditioner. Make sure to wipe off excess oil when finished. An all-natural food safe cutting board oil/conditioner is recommended. Make sure to condition all sides of the cutting board. Including the engraved side and edges. How often you treat your board will vary on how often you use it. Condition with mineral oil every 3 - 5 weeks, more if used daily. To freshen your cutting board up between oil/conditioner treatments, slice a fresh lemon in half and rub onto the surfaces of your cutting board.
